About
This is my personal web diary. Here I document some of the mundane, and perhaps not so mundane events of my life so my family and friends know what I am upto or have been upto in the past.
Professionally, I am a PhD student with the Information Security Group at Royal Holloway. I am a “wannabe” Cryptographer. Although I am a student of the sciences, I ocassionally feel the need to indulge whatever artistic talents I have. So, along the way, I have ocassionally created some artwork and written some poetry (which friends , being friends, have gently encouraged). You can find some of them here.
I also tend to ponder often on some of the unique quirks that mark us as human beings. Among them our capacity for irrationality, tending towards the violent and our capacity for self destruction. Sometimes I rant about these things. Sometimes I pen them down.
I have always felt at a personal level that everything that needs to be said has been said many times over, by many individuals through history. Yet it seems that we live in a noisy world where no one has time to listen - no time to listen to others , no time to listen to themselves; so things have to be said over and over again, but usually to no end.
I find solace in numbers. Numbers are tough and elusive, but they are truthful.

In case you are wondering, I am in the foreground
