I’ve forgotten how
Yet seeing you cry
Brings tears to my eyes
How would I feel to know
That you would leave
Not because you hate
But that you Love
A little too much
When I saw you after months
I felt I’d seen you,
Everyday, with closed eyes
When we hugged
A little lost
When we walked
Time stood a little still
And then moved
Ever so gently
Then you cried
Saying this could not last
Can it?
Time will move on
And so will what I feel for you
A little more perhaps
Perhaps a little less
At times insane
At times elusive
But all times like now
For a thousand lifetimes
I will care for you
Long for you and wait
For many months
Sometimes days
And everyday, a few hours
Is that something,
You would leave me for?
